Islamic Scholar Sayed Muhammad Rizvi says:
A Lady visited Grand Ayatullah Seestani & wanted to donate about $500 for the Orphans of Iraq.
Aga Seestani requested her to make the intention of Orphans & Widows of Iraq.
The lady refused and kept on pressing that it was only for the Orphans.
But when she realized that Aga was stressing on both Orphans & Widows,
she asked Aga why so,
to which he replied:
Whenever the Orphan child will leave some food on the plate, it is obvious that the Widow Mother will consume it.
But, if that food is bought with your funds in your current intention, it will thus become Haraam for the Widow Mother to consume a particle of that food.
Hence, pls make the Niyyah for both Orphans & Widows of Iraq.
The lady changed her intention being amazed at the foresight of this simple man.
